For a hobby or absolute need for communication, VHF Radios is an answer.
VHF Radios available in various forms, such as: Portable radio, Handheld Radio or the other.
In many countries, for the use of radio frequency channels, VHF radios that it’s recommended.
However, there are also countries that only to consent to the UHF frequency, depending on the policy of the respective countries.

In our country, Indonesia, which allowed only the frequency of UHF Low band.
Because the VHF channels used for government purposes.
For example, for the purpose of the police, using VHF Radios.
There are advantages and deficiencies in each of these frequency channels.

For marine radio, usually also use VHF frequency channels.
