Which is more desirable: VHF Band or UHF band?

I asked, which is more desired, UHF or VHF band?
The answer is relatively, depending on the country.
For example, in our country, Indonesia, VHF Band more attractive by the government, the UHF band is widely used by the public.

The more sought CB Radio is dual band, which can be used for UHF and VHF band.
Only a few brands that radio provides dual-band type.
The selling price more expensive than the single band.

Radio VHF Band using a frequency range between 136,000 to 174,000 Mhz.
and the UHF band using a frequency range between 350,000 to 470,000 Mhz.
Necessary license from the department of telecommunication, if you want to use the radio frequency channels.
VHF Band is also used for marine radio communication.
Famous products such as: Motorola, ICOM, YAESU and other, also provide UHF and VHF band.
